Good places to eat in houston and don't have to dress up for it?

I'm tired of going to the same 4 restaurants (Michelangelo's, Polie's, Barnaby's, and Collina's) I want to go someplace new and good that doesn't require a tuxedo, or business casual.



We've already tried: The Hobbit cafe, Ziggy's, Katz's, Grand Lux Cafe, the cheesecake Factory, Hollywood vietnamese, Aladdin, Papa's Seafood (and the rest of their chain), Empire Cafe,



(My b/f is a picky eater so: no mexican, no tex-mex, no cajun, no vegetarian, no sushi, no fast food)

I'll eat just about anything except fast food and carrabas



So any help you can give would be great!Good places to eat in houston and don't have to dress up for it?
Personally, I wouldn't wear a tux to Michelangelo's. There is a Brazilian steak house off of Kirby and like Richmond that is supposed to be pretty good per my Brazilian friends. You need to venture outside the loop.

Mel's Country Cafe is great for a very casual fun experience. Use a gps and bring some friends.

Your b/f needs to expand his palette, at least to fajitas. LaMadeline is one of my favs. Le Peep is good for breakfast and lunch. Carrabas in the burbs out here where I am is good - didn't like the one on Kirby though. Baba Yegas. Not much else I'd come all the way inside the loop for. Do you have a Dimassi's? It's Mediterranean and quite tasty. Lamb, beef, fish, chicken.
