Why do people behave ghetto? ?

I have always believed that it is not your ethnicity that makes you ghetto, it's

the bahavioral pattern and way of living of a human being. I am a sophomore in highschool and class president, as I listen to ideas from the student body, I notice that some of them are really ghetto. Why does one feel the need to shout out their conversation when the recipient of the conversation is beside them. And why must one wear scarfs in school, and talk about marijuana, and sag their pants to where they almost trip going upstairs. In another situation: I live in a lake and golf course neighborhood, so I decided to have a student council meeting at my house, so they could spend the night, swim, play some golf, walk to the country club and have a good time. Immediately when they stepped into my foyer they replied and I quote: Yo! This house is nice as a b*tch. Yo! Dis n*gga rich as f*ck. Pzz Yo mama let chu smoke up in this b*tch. ) I was highly embarrassed because my mom was in the Living room. I'm all for diversity and accepting others differences but I can't take this. Another example: my favorite restaurant is Carrabas Italian grill, I said I was treating everybody! They were loud throughout the meal, and disturbed others and was rude to the waiter. When the bill came they argued over how expensive it was and how they couldn't afford it. I'm thinking in my head ( omg please stfu, I said my treat) so I was already mad, then the waiter double charged my card, so that pissed me off even more, but back to the story, I was taught by my parents that you tip 15% of your bill so, I put $23.41 on the table and the waiter said bless you and left. They got mad and said( oh he'll naww you shoudda gave his a*s $5.00) and called the man back to the table! Uggh some people.Why do people behave ghetto? ?

You have a good life and money to and i can tell you are kind and caring a really nice guy who does no see the world as it truly is, bless you, these people have nuffin to coin a phase, when you splash out your money in kindness or just to make a problem go away they do not see it that way, they see a flash white guy rubbing is wealth in their face, when you share your pad they think **** man this guy has to much, why he got it and i ain;t, life ain;t damn fair. The fact is they are right the world is not fair and you are so sweet and innocent that you are blind to these things. Try not to change too much but remember these people grew up different to you and as such have a different view of the world, you are not wrong for doing what you did its they who cannot appreciate but they are just victims of a cruel world. I was young and comfortable to, grew up in similar situation but in the UK but same deal the have and the have not. The geography may change but the situation is the same.

Try share what you have more discretely, invite one or two to be with you not a 'posse' and make friends but when there are drugs involved disassociate yourself quickly, their need for narcotics will bring you nothing but aggro. Try not to be so open about wealth, and remember this and remember it well there are women out there that are hunting the rich guy, they are not interested in you they are not interested in love they are interested only in MONEY and they will make you poor and unhappy.

Find a simple woman that loves you for who you are and not your money and be 101% SURE as you are very innocent. KEEP SMILING AND REMEMBER IF THERE IS NO HEAVEN THEN WE HAD BETTER MAKE THIS REALITY HEAVEN EVERY DAY AS IT IS A SHORT EXISTENCE.Why do people behave ghetto? ?
because they think it's cool, and that life is a rap (or in my case reggae-ton) song/video. What they don't understand is that not even rappers live that way, its mostly just an image they try to portray.
MTV and hip hop. They perpetuate the stereotype and people feel that in order to feel "black" or with the crowd they have to behave this way.Why do people behave ghetto? ?

Thank you for saying it's not ethnicity. And yes as a black girl I am aware that it is predominantly African Americans, but I even know reaaaaallly ghetto white girls/guys too. And I think it is where they are raised, and who they hang with. I think it's totally rude and I hate it. I think people think it's funny, cute, or powering to be ghetto. But it really is just too much.
