I don't see it as 'best' Vs worst, so i can't answer that part.

ITA with the other posters about not having a best v. worst. Appreciate the different characteristics and energies bring to your personality. Certain people bring those aspects out of you when it comes to you either your sun or moon sign. the best signs are those who take the good qualities and utilize them. the worst signs are those who take the bad qualities and utilize them. Ive found good in an array of different people. so I cant say whats good and whats bad. maybe its because im a gemini and I can get along with almost anyone.
Yes, I don't know for sure about a worst sign, I think I'm the best sign, I am a Gemini. Geminis are helpful, considerate, available and KIND. Maybe a little confused at times but our true nature is kindness and helpfullness. Capricorn is also helpful and self-critical.

I do not think there are any best or worst signs.Each sign has some good points and some bad points.And the path to becoming a good human being is to enhance the good of your sign and reduce the bad by your karma.
As regards the second part of your question,let me tell you that it happens to all of us often.
It depends on the viewer's sign. Different signs have different opinions on different signs.
A virgo might love taurus' and capricorn's stability and practicality but may hate gemini's unstable character.
Again, aries might like gemini.
