Why are the Masons fascinated with the Zodiac sign of Virgo?

Supposedly the Masons designed the nations capitol with the constalation Virgo in mind. Can anybody tell me why?Why are the Masons fascinated with the Zodiac sign of Virgo?
The interest in the signs of the zodiac, tying in with the Greco-Roman architecture of much of the city- has to do with social and societal interest in those things that existed during the era which much of the city was built. Freemasonry had nothing to do with it.

Although Masonry recognizes the mathematical science and perfection of Creation that can be seen in the constellations, the zodiac itself and the zodiac signs- including virgo- have no particular meaning to Masonry.

Virgo was a common theme in the U.S. versions of Greco-Roman revival architecture because it was seen as relating to or being similar to the iconic image of "Liberty", which like "Hope", "Britannia", etc. was often personified as a maiden or virgin. Why are the Masons fascinated with the Zodiac sign of Virgo?
Masons aren't fascinated with the zodiac sign of virgo. It has nothing to do with Freemasonry.

Nor did the Freemasons design the nation's capital. Why are the Masons fascinated with the Zodiac sign of Virgo?
They are not. That book about the secret architecture of Washington DC is the theory of one man, and his theory is crap.
Can't tell you why because it's not true. The book is another load of crap. One of many that are on the market
