Is there really any truth in zodiac sign compatibility?

I usually don't read into those kind of things but I was bored and read that I (Gemini) would be most compatible with Leo and Libra. I looked back and noticed that every woman I though was a good match for me, though I have not managed to date anyone yet, was either a Leo or a Libra.
