Did the producers of Final Fantasy Tactics foresee the existence of the 13th Zodiac Sign?

in the game if you have played it, the 13th stone/relic they will recover will be the Serpentine Stone. the game was released in 1997 (that was almost 14 years ago!) and now the astronomical and astrological community are buzzing about this.

Actually there were originally 13 possibilites, the 13th being Ophiuchus, identified in the 2nd century, though the idea of adding it as a sign wasn't introduced until the 1970s. Still, that's well before the game.Did the producers of Final Fantasy Tactics foresee the existence of the 13th Zodiac Sign?
